Houston Premier Cup 2022

The club continued its spring season tournament series on back-to-back weekends with the 2022 Houston Premier Cup at Bear Branch Gosling and Alden Bridge sports complexes on January 21-23 and 28-30. More than 200 elite teams attended from Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and surrounding states.

2,500 players had the opportunity to take part in elite competition at first-class facilities in front of large audiences. Boys and girls from U9-U15 age groups were on site competing in 7 v 7, 9 v 9 and 11 v 11 formats. Teams stayed in The Woodlands Township, enjoying full access to the incredible amenities provided by the local community. 

"On behalf of the club, I would like to recognize and thank all the teams, coaching staff, referees, volunteers, and The Woodlands Township that helped to make the tournament a tremendous success," said Stuart Taylor, Director of Tournaments & Events. "Staging a first-class event for our teams to participate in meaningful games before the league season starts is very important. The feedback we have received has been extremely positive. As we continue to grow, we look forward to staging an expanded version of this event again in 2023."

The Boys ECNL Program finished off a very long and successful season in the Texas Conference (South) with a league record of W48-L12-T11 and a showcase record of W8-L0-T1Five (5) out of six (6) teams finished top of the league standings heading into the Spring season.

Girls Academy Showcase 2021

The Girls Academy Program (U13-U19) recently traveled to the GA Winter Showcase competing in the Champions League division (top 12 clubs in the country) at the SilverLakes Sports Complex in Norco, CA during December 13-19.  Collectively, the group played in eighteen (18) games in front of over 150 college coaches and US national team scouts from all across the country.

"Attending these national level events and playing in front of hundreds of college coaches from across the country provides the perfect opportunity for our players to showcase their playing abilities and get recruited."

December Tournaments 2021

The 2021 fall season completed its tournament series this last weekend with the 17th annual 3v3 Winterblast and the Winter Break Cup presented by Simple Truth.

This year’s tournament featured 400 teams U7-U19 boys and girls teams from all across the region. Matches took place this last Saturday and Sunday, December 11-12, across sites in The Woodlands, Clear Lake, Friendswood and South Belt, TX.  All the teams had a minimum of three games over the course of the weekend, with awards for champions and finalists. Live music with multiple competitions (dance, juggling, best uniform, best team name) were hosted on site.

"Thank you to all the teams, coaches, managers, volunteers, referees and sponsors for all their support of the tournament," said Milton Arraez, 3v3 Tournament Director. "It’s the effort from everyone involved that makes this 3v3 Winterblast soccer event a tremendous annual success."

"We had a record breaking number of teams register this year for the Winter Break Cup. It's a great way for the club and our visiting guests to close out the fall season with a first class event," said Jason DeVore, Winter Break Cup Tournament Director. "By providing multiple levels of competition at both events, we are able to expand further playing opportunities that benefit player development and elevate the experience."

Houston Youth Cup 2021

The 2021-22 kicked into gear this last weekend at the 2021 Houston Youth Cup, presented by Mia’s Table.

This year’s tournament featured 275 U11-U19 boys and girls teams from all across the region. Matches took place this last Saturday and Sunday, August 20-21, across eight sites in The Woodlands, Tomball and the Conroe area. The GotSoccer ranked event allowed each team a minimum of three games over the course of the weekend, with awards for champions and finalists.

Proceeds from the Houston Youth Cup 2021 will benefit the Dynamo | Dash Youth Scholarship fund to help make the game accessible for all players. You can also donate directly to the fund here.

Special thanks go out to our presenting partner, Mia’s Table, as well as The Woodlands Township and Conroe Parks & Recreational. This pre-season tournament for the area brought an estimated 20,000 spectators to the community, providing a huge economic impact to local hotels and businesses. The club would like to thank On Location (formerly Anthony Travel) for facilitating the hotel accommodations for the visiting teams.

South Texas Spring Showdown 2021

HOUSTON, Texas (May 24) - the club hosted the South Texas Spring Showdown brought you by AutoNation on May 22-23 at Gosling and Bear Branch sports complexes in The Woodlands, TX.  Over one hundred teams (100) competed over a fun two day event which provided an opportunity for the Recreational and Youth Academy groups across south Texas to provide an exciting wrap up to their spring season of competition.

3 v 3 Turf Cup 2021

3v3 Turf Cup 6-25-19NoDateThe club hosted its annual 3 v 3 Turf Cup at Bear Branch Sports Fields, The Woodlands, TX with more than one hundred and fifty teams (150+) teams on site to celebrate the Easter festive weekend.  The following activities were part of the fun filled, action packed day for all the teams that traveled in from across the city of Houston: soccer tennis, live DJ, dance competitions, juggling station, 300+ games along with awards and presentations.

"Another great event of soccer in perfect weather conditions during the Easter holiday weekend.  Fantastic numbers along with some outstanding costumes and an array of festival activities," said Milton Arraez, Tournament Director.  "We look forward to hosting the 5 v 5 Memorial Day Classic on Saturday, May 29."  

The club would like to thank the following partners for donating food - Panera Bread, Potbelly, Lennys Subs and for Memorial Hermann for providing the first class medical care.  Fine Design T-Shirt Company was also on site providing quality product for the members and our guest teams to purchase.

Houston Premier Cup 2021

The club continued its spring season tournament series with back to back weekends featuring the Houston Premier Cup 2021.  The two events were hosted in The Woodlands, TX at Bear Branch, Gosling and Alden Bridge sports complexes on January 22-24 and 30-31.

Two hundred (200) elite teams attended from Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, TX and from other multiple surrounding states.  Players (boys / girls) from U9 - U15 were on site competing at the 7 v 7, 9 v 9 and 11 v 11 formats.

Two thousand five hundred (2,500) players had the opportunity to compete on first class facilities enjoyed  by a huge spectator audience. All the teams stayed within The Woodlands Township having full access to the incredible amenities the local community provides.

We decided to split the event over two weekends to provide a concentrated effort for both the boys and girls after last year's combined tournament. Houston Pre Labor Day Cup 2020

Over one hundred and twenty teams visited the club from across the city and surrounding states to play in the Houston Pre Labor Day Cup (re-scheduled) in the club's second pre-season tournament. All the games were played in Friendswood, Clear Lake and Alvin, TX, September 12-13, 2020.
