Breast Cancer Awareness 2017

Posted on November 14, 2017 BY Dynamo/Dash Content Mrktg

The club’s Breast Cancer Awareness Program sponsored by Hunter Orthodontics wrapped up another great campaign and presented a check to iGo Pink on Field 3 at Bear Branch soccer complex on Monday night.  The program again was led by the Girls Development Academy to show support for this very worthy cause.  A donation was also made to the DDY Disaster Relief Fund to help families that were impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

“It is very gratifying to work with these exceptional young female soccer players who excel on the field and make a difference off the field.  I am so proud they have been able to make a significant donation to iGoPink and raise awareness of Breast Cancer to all our membership.  Natalie Olivarez and Andy Squire did a fantastic job organizing the project and I am sure US Soccer will be happy to see how the top female players in Houston continue to shine.”  Nick O’Shea, Girls Development Academy Director

“What a great night!  I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of the Breast Cancer Awareness Program / Disaster Relief Assistance.  Thank you to the Girls Development Academy Program and the entire Dynamo/Dash Youth Soccer Club for organizing this great program!”  Dr. Ross Hunter, Hunter Orthodontics.

“iGoPink/The Breast Cancer Charities of America is honored for a second year in a row to partner with the Dynamo Dash and their ‘pink out’ initiative to help women going through breast cancer. The passion of the youth, their parents and the coaches is simply phenomenal and the funds they raised will significantly help the programs we provide to cancer patients. “ Erica A. Johnson, Founder & Executive Director, iGoPink | The Breast Cancer Charities of America.
